In 2019-2020, 2,219 people earned their degree in East Asian languages, making the major the 184th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, East Asian languages graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $25,569 and had an average of $20,789 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southwest region, there were 98 East Asian languages graduates with average earnings and debt of $21,900 and $21,750 respectively.

This ranking identifies schools with high-quality East Asian languages programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
