In 2019-2020, 64,869 people earned their degree in health and physical education, making the major the 11th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, health and physical education graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $29,872 and had an average of $24,778 in loans still to pay off.
Across Michigan, there were 2,107 health and physical education graduates with average earnings and debt of $31,721 and $25,929 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Phys Ed Schools in Michigan For Those Making $0-$30k” ranking looked at 22 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in health and physical education.
