2022 Best Value Theology Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Southeast Region For Those Making $48-$75k

In 2019-2020, 15,051 people earned their degree in theological and ministerial studies, making the major the 55th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, theological and ministerial studies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $36,911 and had an average of $41,597 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 5,611 theological and ministerial studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $36,410 and $44,367 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 713 theological and ministerial studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $36,277 and $25,415 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value Theology Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Southeast Region For Those Making $48-$75k” ranking, we looked at 16 colleges that offer a degree in theological and ministerial studies. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent theological and ministerial studies programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
