Covenant College was not included in this year's [Best Schools for Veterans ranking[(/rankings/veterans). This could be due to a number of reasons, including insufficent data.
An increased number of veterans enrolling at a particular school means that college faculty are more adept at accommodating and supporting those with previous military experience.
According to the VA, there are 25 GI Bill® students at Covenant. Since the total enrollment at the school is 911, approximately 2.74% of the students at Covenant are utilizing the GI Bill® to help pay for their education. To put that into perspective, about three to four percent of college students in the U.S. are veterans according to the Student Veterans of America.
Note, this figure includes all chapters of the GI Bill® program (e.g., Post-9/11, Montgomery GI Bill®, Reserve Education Assistance Program, and Veteran Readiness and Employment). It doesn't include military personnel on active duty who are attending this college through Tuition Assistance. The total military population may be higher.
Unfortunately, Covenant does not offer credit for military training.
