Campus & Student Life at New York Institute of Technology

Home to about 3,473 undergraduates in 2020, NYIT is a private school located in Old Westbury, New York. A safe, suburban environment can offer many of the amenities of city living without the constant hum. Should you tire of the campus however, NYIT offers a “study abroad” program. While not a "service academy", NYIT does offer support for veterans and those seeking a career in the armed forces. There were 3,473 undergraduates in 2020. Full-time attendance was 3,155 (90.8%). Part-time attendance was 318 (9.2%).
