Home to about 1,486 undergraduates in 2020, SMCM is a small, public college located in St. Mary’s City, Maryland. A safe, suburban environment can offer many of the amenities of city living without the constant hum. Should you tire of the campus however, SMCM offers a “study abroad” program.
