In 2020-2021, 3,066 people earned their degree in agricultural production, making the major the 190th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, agricultural production graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $31,367 and had an average of $16,973 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 732 agricultural production graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,198 and $18,063 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Agricultural Production” ranking looked at 11 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in agricultural production. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great agricultural production programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
