With all of the options veterans have for higher education today, it can be tough to choose which direction to take. In 2020-2021, 3,234 people earned their degree in horticulture, making the major the 218th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, horticulture graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $35,708 and had an average of $18,440 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 248 horticulture graduates with average earnings and debt of $43,526 and $24,327 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 69 horticulture graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,457 and $25,851 respectively.
This ranking identifies schools with high-quality horticulture programs as well as strong veteran support.
