When pursuing a degree in today’s world, veterans have many different options to choose from. Other Agriculture is the 267th most popular major in the country with 602 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, other agriculture graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $41,859 and had an average of $23,034 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 384 other agriculture graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,820 and $21,667 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Other Agriculture” ranking analyzed 6 colleges that offered a degree in other agriculture. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent other agriculture programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

Top 6 Best Other Agriculture Colleges for Veterans in the Southeast Region
Out of the 6 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Other Agriculture that were part of this year’s ranking, Murray State University landed the #1 spot on the list. Murray, Kentucky is the setting for this medium-sized institution of higher learning. The public school handed out ’s other agriculture degrees to 204 students in 2020-2021.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend University of Kentucky. The school came in at #2 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Other Agriculture. University of Kentucky is located in Lexington, Kentucky and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 13 ’s other agriculture degrees to qualified students.
In addition to being on our southeast region vets studying other agriculture list, UK has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.According to our most recent data, University of Kentucky supports 29,986 students, and 1 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 0 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $0. During this same period, 0 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. University of Kentucky offers credit for military training for eligible students.
The low undergrad student loan default rate of [DEFAULT_RATE_STRING]% is a good sign that students have an easier time paying off their loans than they might at other schools. This fairly large school is located in Richmond, Kentucky, and it awarded 14 ’s other agriculture degrees in 2020-2021.
Eastern not only placed well in this ranking. This medium-sized school is located in Morehead, Kentucky, and it awarded 45 ’s other agriculture degrees in 2020-2021.

Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College is a public institution located in Tifton, Georgia. The school has a small population, and it awarded 63 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.
