With all of the options veterans have for higher education today, it can be tough to choose which direction to take. College Factual has developed its “Most Veteran Friendly in Pennsylvania for Architecture & Related Services” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.
Architecture & Related Services is the 29th most popular major in the country with 17,325 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, architecture and related services graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $49,602 and had an average of $25,146 in loans still to pay off.
Across Pennsylvania, there were 884 architecture and related services graduates with average earnings and debt of $51,562 and $25,955 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Pennsylvania for Architecture & Related Services” ranking analyzed 5 colleges that offered a degree in architecture and related services. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent architecture and related services programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

Located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, this fairly large private not-for-profit school awarded 74 degrees to qualified ’s architecture and related services students in 2020-2021.

Marywood is a small school located in Scranton, Pennsylvania that handed out 51 ’s architecture and related services degrees in 2020-2021.
Marywood also made our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list, coming in at #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS].Our most recent data shows that 60 of the 2,613 students enrolled at Marywood University were GI Bill® students, of which 33 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $19,240. To help with additional expenses, 16 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Temple University. It ranked #5 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Pennsylvania for Architecture & Related Services list. Temple University is a large public school situated in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It awarded 128 ’s architecture and related services degrees in 2020-2021.
Temple did well in our major quality rankings, too.
