With all of the options veterans have for higher education today, it can be tough to choose which direction to take. Our mission at College Factual is to arm you with as much information as we can to help you make that decision. Our “Most Veteran Friendly for Real Estate Dev” ranking is one tool we have developed to help in this regard.
In 2020-2021, 420 people earned their degree in real estate development, making the major the 291st most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, real estate development graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $71,535 and had an average of $16,500 in loans still to pay off.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly for Real Estate Dev” ranking looked at 10 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in real estate development. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great real estate development programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as veteran satisfaction, veteran affordability, and overall quality of the real estate development program at the school. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.

Top 10 Best Real Estate Development Colleges for Veterans
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Southern California. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly for Real Estate Dev list. Los Angeles, California is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out ’s real estate dev degrees to 177 students in 2020-2021.
USC also made our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list, coming in at #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS].Among the 46,287 students enrolled at University of Southern California, 1,311 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 862 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $20,487. On top of their other funding sources, 388 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. University of Southern California does offer credit for military training for eligible students.

This fairly large school is located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and it awarded 31 ’s real estate dev degrees in 2020-2021.
MIT also took the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Of the 11,254 students enrolled at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, 129 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
