You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend University of New Hampshire - Main Campus. The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Zoology for a Bachelor’s. Durham, New Hampshire is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelors’s zoology degrees to 21 students in 2020-2021.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at UNH, the school also landed the #2 spot in our “Best Zoology Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the New England Region” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 37 of the 14,348 students enrolled at UNH were GI Bill® students, of which 24 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Located in Orono, Maine, this fairly large public school handed out 27 diplomas to qualified bachelors’s zoology students in 2020-2021.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at UMaine, the school also landed the #4 spot in our “Best Zoology Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the New England Region” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 21 of the 11,741 students enrolled at UMaine were GI Bill® students, of which 17 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $16,419. During this same period, 0 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. The school came in at #3 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Zoology for a Bachelor’s. UCONN is a large public school situated in Storrs, Connecticut. It awarded 107 bachelors’s zoology degrees in 2020-2021.
UCONN not only placed well in this ranking. As a testament to the quality of education offered at UVM, the school also landed the #3 spot in our “Best Zoology Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the New England Region” ranking.Among the 13,292 students enrolled at UVM, 218 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 142 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $10,767. On top of their other funding sources, 19 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. UVM offers credit for military training for eligible students.

Located in Unity, Maine, this small private not-for-profit school handed out 18 degrees to qualified bachelors’s zoology students in 2020-2021.
Unity also made our “Best Zoology Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the New England Region” list, coming in at #6.According to our most recent data, Unity College supports 1,429 students, and 38 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 24 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
