Our “Most Veteran Friendly in Arizona for Accounting” ranking is part of that endeavor.
With 99,265 degrees handed out in 2020-2021, accounting is the 8th most popular major in the United States. In 2019-2020, accounting graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $47,712 and had an average of $26,539 in loans still to pay off.
Across Arizona, there were 2,471 accounting graduates with average earnings and debt of $49,121 and $28,247 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Arizona for Accounting” ranking looked at 13 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in accounting. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great accounting programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

Top 13 Best Accounting Colleges for Veterans in Arizona
Out of the 13 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in Arizona for Accounting that were part of this year’s ranking, Arizona State University - Tempe landed the #1 spot on the list. Arizona State University - Tempe is a large school located in Tempe, Arizona that handed out 244 ’s accounting degrees in 2020-2021.
ASU - Tempe did well in our major quality rankings, too.
