Veterans have lots of options to chooose from today when trying to decide which college to attend. Our “Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Entrepreneurship for an Associate” ranking is one tool we have developed to help in this regard.
In 2020-2021, 11,319 people earned their degree in entrepreneurial studies, making the major the 120th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, entrepreneurial studies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $42,578 and had an average of $25,632 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Great Lakes region, there were 1,870 entrepreneurial studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,761 and $23,106 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 161 entrepreneurial studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $36,077 and $19,490 respectively.
For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Entrepreneurship for an Associate” ranking, we looked at 17 colleges that offer a degree in entrepreneurial studies. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality entrepreneurial studies programs as well as strong veteran support.
When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the entrepreneurial studies program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran satisfaction. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.
