In 2020-2021, 11,319 people earned their degree in entrepreneurial studies, making the major the 120th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, entrepreneurial studies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $42,578 and had an average of $25,632 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Great Lakes region, there were 1,870 entrepreneurial studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,761 and $23,106 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Entrepreneurship” ranking analyzed 65 colleges that offered a degree in entrepreneurial studies. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great entrepreneurial studies programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as veteran satisfaction, veteran affordability, and overall quality of the entrepreneurial studies program at the school. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend University of Dayton. The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Entrepreneurship. University of Dayton is located in Dayton, Ohio and, has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 62 ’s entrepreneurship degrees to qualified students.
In addition to being on our great lakes region vets studying entrepreneurship list, UDayton has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 197 of the 11,650 students enrolled at UDayton were GI Bill® students, of which 142 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
