In 2020-2021, 11,319 people earned their degree in entrepreneurial studies, making the major the 120th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, entrepreneurial studies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $42,578 and had an average of $25,632 in loans still to pay off.
Across Ohio, there were 704 entrepreneurial studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,046 and $20,083 respectively.
For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Ohio for Entrepreneurship” ranking, we looked at 20 colleges that offer a degree in entrepreneurial studies. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent entrepreneurial studies programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend University of Dayton. The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in Ohio for Entrepreneurship. Dayton, Ohio is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out ’s entrepreneurship degrees to 62 students in 2020-2021.
UDayton also made our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list, coming in at #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS].Among the 11,650 students enrolled at University of Dayton, 197 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Located in Cincinnati, Ohio, this medium-sized private not-for-profit school awarded 25 degrees to qualified ’s entrepreneurship students in 2020-2021.
Xavier not only placed well in this ranking.
