General Business/Commerce is the 16th most popular major in the country with 56,042 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, general business/commerce graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $43,399 and had an average of $26,389 in loans still to pay off.
Across the New England region, there were 3,482 general business/commerce graduates with average earnings and debt of $53,313 and $20,424 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,706 general business/commerce graduates with average earnings and debt of $42,403 and $25,944 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for General Business for a Bachelor’s” ranking looked at 17 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in general business/commerce. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great general business/commerce programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
