In 2019-2020, general business/commerce graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $43,399 and had an average of $26,389 in loans still to pay off.
Across Michigan, there were 1,074 general business/commerce graduates with average earnings and debt of $50,227 and $23,243 respectively.
For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Michigan for General Business” ranking, we looked at 17 colleges that offer a degree in general business/commerce. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great general business/commerce programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

Out of the 17 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in Michigan for General Business that were part of this year’s ranking, Grand Valley State University landed the #1 spot on the list. This large school is located in Allendale, Michigan, and it awarded 126 ’s general business degrees in 2020-2021.
