In 2020-2021, 56,042 people earned their degree in general business/commerce, making the major the 16th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, general business/commerce graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $43,399 and had an average of $26,389 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Rocky Mountains region, there were 1,904 general business/commerce graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,981 and $28,994 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Rocky Mountains Region for General Business” ranking, we looked at 14 colleges that offer a degree in general business/commerce. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent general business/commerce programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as veteran satisfaction, veteran affordability, and overall quality of the general business/commerce program at the school. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.

Denver, Colorado is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out ’s general business degrees to 238 students in 2020-2021.

DU also made our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list, coming in at #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS].Among the 13,856 students enrolled at DU, 571 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 373 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $12,359. Bozeman, Montana is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out ’s general business degrees to 282 students in 2020-2021.

Boise State University is located in Boise, Idaho and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 253 ’s general business degrees to qualified students.
