Hospitality Management is the 66th most popular major in the country with 17,689 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, hospitality management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $35,874 and had an average of $22,906 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 2,767 hospitality management graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,556 and $22,626 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Hospitality Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region For Those Making $30-$48k” ranking looked at 75 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in hospitality management. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality hospitality management programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as the cost to attend the school after aid is awarded and overall quality of the hospitality management program at the school. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.

Cornell is a large private not-for-profit school situated in Ithaca, New York. It awarded 277 ’s hospitality degrees in 2020-2021.
