Across the Rocky Mountains region, there were 366 hospitality management graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,534 and $23,200 respectively.

To top this list, a school must have a successful hospitality management program that graduates more students in the field than other colleges that offer the same major.

Out of the 17 schools in the Most Well Attended Hospitality Major in the Rocky Mountains Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Metropolitan State University of Denver landed the #1 spot on the list. Metropolitan State University of Denver is located in Denver, Colorado and, has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 74 ’s hospitality degrees to qualified students.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Colorado State University - Fort Collins. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Well Attended Hospitality Major in the Rocky Mountains Region list. This large school is located in Fort Collins, Colorado, and it awarded 49 ’s hospitality degrees in 2020-2021.
The undergrad student loan default rate at the school is 2.6%, which is quite low when compared to the national default rate of 10.1%. With a freshman retention rate of 85%, the school does an excellent job of retaining its undergraduate students.

Out of the 17 schools in the Most Well Attended Hospitality Major in the Rocky Mountains Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Utah Valley University landed the #3 spot on the list. Orem, Utah is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out ’s hospitality degrees to 47 students in 2020-2021.
The low undergrad student loan default rate of 4.4% is a good sign that students have an easier time paying off their loans than they might at other schools. For comparison, the national default rate is 10.1%.

Colorado Mountain College is a public institution located in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The school has a medium-sized population, and it awarded 61 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Denver. It ranked #5 on our 2023 Most Well Attended Hospitality Major in the Rocky Mountains Region list. University of Denver is a fairly large private not-for-profit school situated in Denver, Colorado. It awarded 33 ’s hospitality degrees in 2020-2021.
The undergrad student loan default rate at the school is 1.6%, which is quite low when compared to the national default rate of 10.1%.
