Florida International University tops the 2021 list of our schools in the Southeast Region that are best for non-traditional hospitality management students. Located in the suburb of Miami, FIU is a public school with a very large student population. FIU also took the #4 spot in our Best Colleges for Hospitality Management in the Southeast Region rankings.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 2.0%. There are approximately 21,632 students at FIU that take at least one class online. 22,664 of FIU students are attending part time.

University of Central Florida comes in at #2 in this year's ranking. Located in the large suburb of Orlando, UCF is a public school with a fairly large student population. UCF also made our Best Colleges for Hospitality Management in the Southeast Region list, coming in at #1.

James Madison University earned the #3 spot in our 2021 rankings. JMU is a very large public school located in the city of Harrisonburg. JMU also took the #3 spot in our Best Colleges for Hospitality Management in the Southeast Region rankings.

Virginia Tech earned the #4 spot in our 2021 rankings. Located in the city of Blacksburg, Virginia Tech is a public college with a fairly large student population. As a testament to the quality of education offered at Virginia Tech, the school also landed the #2 rank in our Best Colleges for Hospitality Management in the Southeast Region ranking.
