Hospitality Management is the 66th most popular major in the country with 17,689 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, hospitality management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $35,874 and had an average of $22,906 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 6,049 hospitality management graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,985 and $24,947 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 561 hospitality management graduates with average earnings and debt of $34,328 and $20,384 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Hospitality for an Associate” ranking analyzed 39 colleges that offered a degree in hospitality management. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent hospitality management programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.
