It’s not easy to decide which college to attend when there so many options available for veterans. College Factual has developed its “Most Veteran Friendly in the Far Western US Region for Hospitality for a Bachelor’s” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.
Hospitality Management is the 66th most popular major in the country with 17,689 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, hospitality management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $35,874 and had an average of $22,906 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Far Western US region, there were 2,554 hospitality management graduates with average earnings and debt of $46,278 and $16,989 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,666 hospitality management graduates with average earnings and debt of $39,720 and $23,024 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Far Western US Region for Hospitality for a Bachelor’s” ranking analyzed 15 colleges that offered a degree in hospitality management. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent hospitality management programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

Top 15 Best Hospitality Management Bachelor’s Degree Colleges for Veterans in the Far Western US Region
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Nevada - Las Vegas. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Far Western US Region for Hospitality for a Bachelor’s list. Las Vegas, Nevada is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelors’s hospitality degrees to 599 students in 2020-2021.
