Hospitality Management is the 66th most popular major in the country with 17,689 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, hospitality management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $35,874 and had an average of $22,906 in loans still to pay off.

Across Florida, there were 3,187 hospitality management graduates with average earnings and debt of $35,055 and $23,258 respectively.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Central Florida. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Florida for Hospitality for a Doctorate list. Orlando, Florida is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out doctorate’s hospitality degrees to 3 students in 2020-2021.

UCF not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #1 on our “Best Hospitality Management Doctor’s Degree Schools in Florida” list.Our most recent data shows that 2,263 of the 71,881 students enrolled at UCF were GI Bill® students, of which 1,216 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $4,995. During this same period, 8 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. UCF does offer credit for military training for eligible students.
