It’s not easy to decide which college to attend when there so many options available for veterans. College Factual was founded, in part, to help students make the decision as to what would be the best school for them. Our “Most Veteran Friendly in Texas for Hospitality” ranking is part of that endeavor.
Hospitality Management is the 66th most popular major in the country with 17,689 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, hospitality management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $35,874 and had an average of $22,906 in loans still to pay off.
Across Texas, there were 1,105 hospitality management graduates with average earnings and debt of $36,386 and $21,821 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Texas for Hospitality” ranking analyzed 14 colleges that offered a degree in hospitality management. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great hospitality management programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

Out of the 14 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in Texas for Hospitality that were part of this year’s ranking, Texas A&M University - College Station landed the #1 spot on the list. Texas A&M University - College Station is a large school located in College Station, Texas that handed out 318 ’s hospitality degrees in 2020-2021.
