In 2020-2021, 28,787 people earned their degree in human resource management, making the major the 45th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, human resource management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $49,057 and had an average of $31,139 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 5,568 human resource management graduates with average earnings and debt of $51,870 and $27,241 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 2,558 human resource management graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,457 and $25,851 respectively.
For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for HR for a Bachelor’s” ranking, we looked at 49 colleges that offer a degree in human resource management. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great human resource management programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
