In 2020-2021, 28,787 people earned their degree in human resource management, making the major the 45th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, human resource management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $49,057 and had an average of $31,139 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Plains States region, there were 3,360 human resource management graduates with average earnings and debt of $46,663 and $38,361 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Plains States Region for HR” ranking analyzed 54 colleges that offered a degree in human resource management. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent human resource management programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.
