Our “Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Insurance for a Bachelor’s” ranking is part of that endeavor.
In 2020-2021, 1,809 people earned their degree in insurance, making the major the 201st most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, insurance graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $57,764 and had an average of $24,058 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Great Lakes region, there were 419 insurance graduates with average earnings and debt of $54,982 and $24,800 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 326 insurance graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,343 and $26,790 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Insurance for a Bachelor’s” ranking analyzed 14 colleges that offered a degree in insurance. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great insurance programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
