Marketing is the 17th most popular major in the country with 52,916 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, marketing graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $42,991 and had an average of $25,213 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Great Lakes region, there were 9,982 marketing graduates with average earnings and debt of $43,781 and $25,049 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 8,627 marketing graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,343 and $26,790 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Marketing for a Bachelor’s” ranking analyzed 128 colleges that offered a degree in marketing. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great marketing programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

Xavier is located in Cincinnati, Ohio and, has a medium-sized student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 95 bachelors’s marketing degrees to qualified students.
