In 2020-2021, 52,916 people earned their degree in marketing, making the major the 17th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, marketing graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $42,991 and had an average of $25,213 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 14,428 marketing graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,523 and $25,857 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 12,751 marketing graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,400 and $27,180 respectively.

Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent marketing programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

UA is a large school located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama that handed out 605 bachelors’s marketing degrees in 2020-2021.

Samford University ranked #25 on this year’s Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Marketing for a Bachelor’s list. Samford is a medium-sized school located in Birmingham, Alabama that handed out 56 bachelors’s marketing degrees in 2020-2021.
