For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly for Other MIS” ranking, we looked at 10 colleges that offer a degree in other management information systems and services. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent other management information systems and services programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.
To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as veteran satisfaction, veteran affordability, and overall quality of the other management information systems and services program at the school. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.

Out of the 10 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly for Other MIS that were part of this year’s ranking, Bellevue University landed the #1 spot on the list. Located in Bellevue, Nebraska, this fairly large private not-for-profit school handed out 3 diplomas to qualified ’s other MIS students in 2020-2021.

Out of the 10 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly for Other MIS that were part of this year’s ranking, ECPI University landed the #2 spot on the list. ECPI University is a fairly large school located in Virginia Beach, Virginia that handed out 23 ’s other MIS degrees in 2020-2021.
ECPI University also took the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 12 of the 14,353 students enrolled at ECPI University were GI Bill® students, of which 9 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Bowling Green State University - Main Campus. It ranked #3 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly for Other MIS list. Located in Bowling Green, Ohio, this fairly large public school awarded 26 degrees to qualified ’s other MIS students in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our vets studying other mis list, BGSU has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Of the 18,142 students enrolled at BGSU, 577 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 258 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $6,808. In addition to receiving other benefits, 3 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.

Located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, this large public school handed out 2 diplomas to qualified ’s other MIS students in 2020-2021.
Pitt did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.Our most recent data shows that 509 of the 32,277 students enrolled at Pitt were GI Bill® students, of which 364 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Minot State University. The school came in at #5 for the Most Veteran Friendly for Other MIS. Minot State University is a public institution located in Minot, North Dakota. The school has a small population, and it awarded 3 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.
MSU did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.Our most recent data shows that 198 of the 2,920 students enrolled at MSU were GI Bill® students, of which 115 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Hofstra University landed the #6 spot on the 2023 Most Veteran Friendly for Other MIS ranking. Hempstead, New York is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out ’s other MIS degrees to 3 students in 2020-2021.
Hofstra did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.Of the 10,444 students enrolled at Hofstra, 154 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
