When it comes to choosing a college, veterans have a lot of options - but not all of them are good. College Factual was founded, in part, to help students make the decision as to what would be the best school for them. Our “Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for MIS” ranking is part of that endeavor.
In 2020-2021, 11,791 people earned their degree in general management information systems, making the major the 72nd most popular in the United States.
Across the New England region, there were 476 general management information systems graduates with average earnings and debt of $0 and $0 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for MIS” ranking analyzed 15 colleges that offered a degree in general management information systems. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality general management information systems programs as well as strong veteran support.
When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the general management information systems program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran satisfaction. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Quinnipiac University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for MIS list. This medium-sized school is located in Hamden, Connecticut, and it awarded 49 ’s MIS degrees in 2020-2021.

CCSU is a medium-sized school located in New Britain, Connecticut that handed out 40 ’s MIS degrees in 2020-2021.
