It’s not easy to decide which college to attend when there so many options available for veterans. Our “Most Veteran Friendly in the Plains States Region for MIS for a Bachelor’s” ranking is part of that endeavor.
In 2020-2021, 13,680 people earned their degree in management information systems, making the major the 73rd most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, management information systems graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $57,647 and had an average of $24,340 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Plains States region, there were 778 management information systems graduates with average earnings and debt of $56,586 and $27,070 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 467 management information systems graduates with average earnings and debt of $41,046 and $29,021 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Plains States Region for MIS for a Bachelor’s” ranking analyzed 29 colleges that offered a degree in management information systems. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great management information systems programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as veteran satisfaction, veteran affordability, and overall quality of the management information systems program at the school. See our ranking methodology to learn more.
