In 2020-2021, 5,923 people earned their degree in general sales and marketing, making the major the 139th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, general sales and marketing graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $44,525 and had an average of $23,038 in loans still to pay off.
Across Ohio, there were 278 general sales and marketing graduates with average earnings and debt of $52,309 and $25,296 respectively.
For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Ohio for Sales & Marketing” ranking, we looked at 4 colleges that offer a degree in general sales and marketing. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great general sales and marketing programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

Out of the 4 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in Ohio for Sales & Marketing that were part of this year’s ranking, Bowling Green State University - Main Campus landed the #1 spot on the list. This fairly large school is located in Bowling Green, Ohio, and it awarded 42 ’s sales and marketing degrees in 2020-2021.

University of Akron Main Campus is located in Akron, Ohio and, has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 78 ’s sales and marketing degrees to qualified students.
