This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Specialized Marketing for a Bachelor’s” ranking looked at 10 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in specialized sales, merchandising and marketing. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great specialized sales, merchandising and marketing programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

Denton, Texas is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelors’s specialized marketing degrees to 153 students in 2020-2021.

UNT did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #2 on our “Best Specialized Sales, Merchandising & Marketing Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list.Among the 40,953 students enrolled at University of North Texas, 2,038 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 1,138 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $9,999. The school came in at #2 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Specialized Marketing for a Bachelor’s. TCU is a private not-for-profit institution located in Fort Worth, Texas. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 41 bachelors’s degrees in 2020-2021.

TCU did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our “Best Specialized Sales, Merchandising & Marketing Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list.Of the 11,379 students enrolled at Texas Christian University, 520 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 405 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $23,096. During this same period, 343 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.

Baylor University did quite well in the 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Specialized Marketing for a Bachelor’s ranking, coming in at #6. Baylor is a large private not-for-profit school situated in Waco, Texas. It awarded 42 bachelors’s specialized marketing degrees in 2020-2021.

Baylor not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #3 on our “Best Specialized Sales, Merchandising & Marketing Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list.Our most recent data shows that 876 of the 19,297 students enrolled at Baylor were GI Bill® students, of which 593 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $17,744. On top of their other funding sources, 263 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Baylor offers credit for military training for eligible students.

The Art Institute of Dallas is located in Dallas, Texas and, has a small student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 3 bachelors’s specialized marketing degrees to qualified students.
