In 2020-2021, 12,001 people earned their degree in communications, making the major the 67th most popular in the United States.

Across the Southeast region, there were 1,783 communications graduates with average earnings and debt of $0 and $0 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,628 communications graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,400 and $27,180 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Communication Arts for a Bachelor’s” ranking, we looked at 24 colleges that offer a degree in communications. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent communications programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.
