Our “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Communication Arts” ranking is one tool we have developed to help in this regard.
In 2020-2021, 12,001 people earned their degree in communications, making the major the 67th most popular in the United States.
Across the Southeast region, there were 1,783 communications graduates with average earnings and debt of $0 and $0 respectively.
For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Communication Arts” ranking, we looked at 27 colleges that offer a degree in communications. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent communications programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Liberty University. The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Communication Arts. This large school is located in Lynchburg, Virginia, and it awarded 154 ’s communication arts degrees in 2020-2021.

This fairly large school is located in Jacksonville, Florida, and it awarded 201 ’s communication arts degrees in 2020-2021.

Stetson University landed the #8 spot on the 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Communication Arts ranking. Stetson University is a small private not-for-profit school situated in DeLand, Florida. It awarded 32 ’s communication arts degrees in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our southeast region vets studying communication arts list, Stetson has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Among the 4,462 students enrolled at Stetson, 48 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
