You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Quinnipiac University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Connecticut for Communications list. Quinnipiac is a medium-sized private not-for-profit school situated in Hamden, Connecticut. It awarded 27 ’s communications degrees in 2020-2021.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend University of Connecticut. The school came in at #2 for the Most Veteran Friendly in Connecticut for Communications. Storrs, Connecticut is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out ’s communications degrees to 287 students in 2020-2021.
UCONN also made our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list, coming in at #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS].Our most recent data shows that 1 of the 27,215 students enrolled at UCONN were GI Bill® students, of which 0 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Sacred Heart did well in our major quality rankings, too. Located in New Haven, Connecticut, this medium-sized public school handed out 69 degrees to qualified ’s communications students in 2020-2021.
SCSU did well in our major quality rankings, too. You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Eastern Connecticut State University. The school came in at #5 for the Most Veteran Friendly in Connecticut for Communications. ECSU is located in Willimantic, Connecticut and, has a small student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 61 ’s communications degrees to qualified students.
ECSU also took the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 121 of the 4,644 students enrolled at ECSU were GI Bill® students, of which 61 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $8,558. In addition to receiving other benefits, 3 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Western Connecticut State University ranked #6 on this year’s Most Veteran Friendly in Connecticut for Communications list. Located in Danbury, Connecticut, this small public school handed out 60 degrees to qualified ’s communications students in 2020-2021.
WestConn also made our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list, coming in at #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS].Among the 5,246 students enrolled at Western Connecticut State University, 119 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 83 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $9,114. During this same period, 3 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.

Fairfield University ranked #7 on this year’s Most Veteran Friendly in Connecticut for Communications list. Fairfield U is a private not-for-profit institution located in Fairfield, Connecticut. The school has a medium-sized population, and it awarded 75 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.
Fairfield U not only placed well in this ranking. Central Connecticut State University landed the #8 spot on the 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Connecticut for Communications ranking. Located in New Britain, Connecticut, this medium-sized public school awarded 30 diplomas to qualified ’s communications students in 2020-2021.
CCSU did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.Our most recent data shows that 321 of the 10,652 students enrolled at Central Connecticut State University were GI Bill® students, of which 166 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $7,782. To help with additional expenses, 3 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

University of New Haven came in at #9 in this year’s edition of the Most Veteran Friendly in Connecticut for Communications ranking. University of New Haven is a medium-sized private not-for-profit school situated in West Haven, Connecticut. It awarded 27 ’s communications degrees in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our connecticut vets studying communications list, University of New Haven has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Of the 6,961 students enrolled at University of New Haven, 327 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 225 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $16,535. On top of their other funding sources, 86 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. University of New Haven does offer credit for military training for eligible students.

University of Hartford did quite well in the 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Connecticut for Communications ranking, coming in at #10. UHart is a medium-sized school located in West Hartford, Connecticut that handed out 65 ’s communications degrees in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our connecticut vets studying communications list, UHart has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Of the 6,493 students enrolled at UHart, 96 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 54 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $12,928. In addition to receiving other benefits, 18 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.
Since the school has a undergrad student-to-faculty ratio of 8 to 1, those pursuing a degree will have more opportunities to interact with their professors.
