You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Point Park University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Pennsylvania for Journalism for a Bachelor’s list. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out bachelors’s journalism degrees to 14 students in 2020-2021.
Point Park did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #4 on our “Best Journalism Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Pennsylvania” list.Of the 3,591 students enrolled at Point Park, 110 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 68 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $8,640. During this same period, 18 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

Duquesne is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and, has a medium-sized student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 15 bachelors’s journalism degrees to qualified students.
Duquesne also took the #3 spot in our “Best Journalism Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Pennsylvania” ranking.Among the 8,830 students enrolled at Duquesne University, 219 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
