Across Colorado, there were 2,236 communication and journalism graduates with average earnings and debt of $34,697 and $24,335 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,781 communication and journalism graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,670 and $29,027 respectively.

This ranking identifies schools with high-quality communication and journalism programs as well as strong veteran support.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Colorado Boulder. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Colorado for Communication & Journalism for a Bachelor’s list. This large school is located in Boulder, Colorado, and it awarded 698 bachelors’s communication and journalism degrees in 2020-2021.
CU - Boulder also took the #1 spot in our “Best Communication & Journalism Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Colorado” ranking.Among the 37,437 students enrolled at University of Colorado Boulder, 1,379 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 968 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $12,889. University of Denver is a private not-for-profit institution located in Denver, Colorado. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 116 bachelors’s degrees in 2020-2021.
DU also took the #2 spot in our “Best Communication & Journalism Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Colorado” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 571 of the 13,856 students enrolled at DU were GI Bill® students, of which 373 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
