In 2020-2021, 31,531 people earned their degree in information technology, making the major the 35th most popular in the United States.
For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly for IT” ranking, we looked at 251 colleges that offer a degree in information technology. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality information technology programs as well as strong veteran support.
When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the information technology program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran satisfaction. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.
Most Veteran Friendly for IT
The colleges and universities below are the best for vets studying it.
Out of the 251 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly for IT that were part of this year’s ranking, Purdue University - Main Campus landed the #1 spot on the list. Purdue University - Main Campus is a large public school situated in West Lafayette, Indiana. It awarded 278 ’s IT degrees in 2020-2021.
