This year's Best Computer Information Systems Colleges for Non-Traditional Students in the Far Western US Region ranking looked at 20 colleges that offer a bachelor's in cis. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great computer information systems programs and a strong support system for non-traditional students.

University of Washington - Seattle Campus tops the 2021 list of our schools in the Far Western US Region that are best for non-traditional computer information systems students. UW Seattle is a very large public school located in the city of Seattle. UW Seattle also made our Best Colleges for Computer Information Systems in the Far Western US Region list, coming in at #1.
About 0.7% of UW Seattle students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. There are approximately 8,815 students at UW Seattle that take at least one class online. About 9,705 of the students at UW Seattle are attending part time.

California State University - Chico comes in at #3 in this year's ranking. Located in the midsize city of Chico, Chico State is a public school with a large student population. Chico State also made our Best Colleges for Computer Information Systems in the Far Western US Region list, coming in at #4.

University of California - Irvine earned the #4 spot in our 2021 rankings. Located in the large city of Irvine, UC Irvine is a public college with a fairly large student population. As a testament to the quality of education offered at UC Irvine, the school also landed the #2 rank in our Best Colleges for Computer Information Systems in the Far Western US Region ranking.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 0.6%. There are approximately 23,448 students at UC Irvine that take at least one class online. 1,201 students are part time.

Western Washington University comes in at #5 in this year's ranking. Located in the city of Bellingham, WWU is a public college with a large student population. In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, WWU has also earned the #6 rank in our Best Colleges for Computer Information Systems in the Far Western US Region ranking.
The student loan default rate at WWU is lower than is typical, just 0.5% of students default in three years. There are approximately 827 students at WWU that take at least one class online. 1,864 students are part time.

Oregon Institute of Technology earned the #6 spot in our 2021 rankings. OIT is a small public school located in the remote town of Klamath Falls. OIT did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #9 on our Best Colleges for Computer Information Systems in the Far Western US Region list.
