The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great computer information systems programs and a strong support system for non-traditional students.

Georgia Tech is a very large public school located in the city of Atlanta. As a testament to the quality of education offered at Georgia Tech, the school also landed the #1 rank in our Best Colleges for Computer Information Systems in the Southeast Region ranking.

University of Virginia - Main Campus comes in at #3 in this year's ranking. University of Virginia is a fairly large public school located in the small suburb of Charlottesville. University of Virginia also made our Best Colleges for Computer Information Systems in the Southeast Region list, coming in at #3.

Our rankings recognize George Mason University as the #4 school in this year's rankings. GMU is a fairly large public school located in the large suburb of Fairfax. As a testament to the quality of education offered at GMU, the school also landed the #7 rank in our Best Colleges for Computer Information Systems in the Southeast Region ranking.

University of Florida comes in at #7 in this year's ranking. Located in the city of Gainesville, UF is a public college with a fairly large student population. UF did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #4 on our Best Colleges for Computer Information Systems in the Southeast Region list.
