For this year's Best Computer Information Systems Colleges for Non-Traditional Students in the Plains States Region ranking, we looked at 23 colleges that offer a bachelor's in cis. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality computer information systems programs as well as strong support for students classified as non-traditional.

Missouri University of Science and Technology tops the 2021 list of our schools in the Plains States Region that are best for non-traditional computer information systems students. Located in the town of Rolla, Missouri University of Science and Technology is a public school with a moderately-sized student population. Missouri University of Science and Technology also took the #1 spot in our Best Colleges for Computer Information Systems in the Plains States Region rankings.

University of Nebraska - Lincoln comes in at #2 in this year's ranking. UNL is a very large public school located in the large city of Lincoln. UNL not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #2 on our Best Colleges for Computer Information Systems in the Plains States Region list.

Capella University landed the #3 spot in our 2021 best computer information systems schools for non-traditional students. Capella University is a very large private for-profit school located in the city of Minneapolis.

University of Iowa earned the #4 spot in our 2021 rankings. Iowa is a fairly large public school located in the city of Iowa City. Iowa also took the #3 spot in our Best Colleges for Computer Information Systems in the Plains States Region rankings.

The #5 spot in this year's ranking belongs to University of Missouri - Columbia. Located in the medium-sized city of Columbia, Mizzou is a public school with a fairly large student population. In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, Mizzou has also earned the #4 rank in our Best Colleges for Computer Information Systems in the Plains States Region ranking.
