In 2020-2021, 88,434 computer information systems students received their degree, making the major the 9th most popular in the country. In 2019-2020, computer information systems graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $54,066 and had an average of $26,787 in loans still to pay off.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly for CIS” ranking looked at 507 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in computer information systems. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality computer information systems programs as well as strong veteran support.

When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the computer information systems program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran satisfaction. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.
