With 88,434 degrees handed out in 2020-2021, computer information systems is the 9th most popular major in the United States. In 2019-2020, computer information systems graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $54,066 and had an average of $26,787 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 30,779 computer information systems graduates with average earnings and debt of $48,839 and $25,232 respectively.
For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for CIS for a Master’s” ranking, we looked at 55 colleges that offer a degree in computer information systems. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality computer information systems programs as well as strong veteran support.
