Computer Programming is the 108th most popular major in the country with 11,939 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, computer programming graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $45,629 and had an average of $27,450 in loans still to pay off.
Across Georgia, there were 588 computer programming graduates with average earnings and debt of $35,568 and $24,773 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 53 computer programming graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,491 and $29,433 respectively.
The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great computer programming programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
