Illinois Institute of Technology tops the 2021 list of our schools in the Great Lakes Region that are best for non-traditional computer science students. Located in the large city of Chicago, Illinois Tech is a private not-for-profit college with a medium-sized student population. As a testament to the quality of education offered at Illinois Tech, the school also landed the #2 rank in our Best Colleges for Computer Science in the Great Lakes Region ranking.
About 0.8% of Illinois Tech students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. Approximately 1,752 students take at least one class online at Illinois Tech. 1,354 students are part time.
