Cornell University tops the 2021 list of our schools in the Middle Atlantic Region that are best for non-traditional computer science students. Cornell is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Ithaca. As a testament to the quality of education offered at Cornell, the school also landed the #3 rank in our Best Colleges for Computer Science in the Middle Atlantic Region ranking.
About 0.4% of Cornell students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. There are approximately 2,837 students at Cornell that take at least one class online. There are roughly 574 part time students in attendance at Cornell.

Our rankings recognize Rochester Institute of Technology as the #2 school in this year's rankings. RIT is a large private not-for-profit school located in the suburb of Rochester. RIT did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #6 on our Best Colleges for Computer Science in the Middle Atlantic Region list.
The student loan default rate at RIT is lower than is typical, just 0.8% of students default in three years. Approximately 9,961 students take at least one class online at RIT. There are roughly 1,867 part time students in attendance at RIT.

Drexel University earned the #3 spot in our 2021 rankings. Located in the city of Philadelphia, Drexel is a private not-for-profit school with a fairly large student population. Drexel did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #9 on our Best Colleges for Computer Science in the Middle Atlantic Region list.
